Lost-in-the-Dark Bells

Color of the day:  Gold
Incense of the day:  Heliotrope

In some English villages, there are stories and legends (some true) that tell of people who were lost in the dark or fog and were steered away from falling off a cliff or ravine by the sound of church bells. To this day, bells are rung in honor of those people (who usually donated money, in gratitude, to the church). Today is one of those days.

Consider a time in your life when you were helped or guided to safety. Ring your own bells tonight-maybe someone will hear. If you don't have a bell, make sound another way-with music, perhaps. Use this chant and visualize helping someone else or receiving guidance with a situation in which you feel lost:

"Lost, then found,
By the sound.
Guide me home
When I roam.
Hear the tone-
I'm not alone"
