Magical Elixir

Color of the day:  Indigo
Incense of the day:  Patchouli

As the weather changes, it is common to get sick-a sore throat, cold, or flu. Now is a good time to make a natural remedy that boosts the immune system, reduces liver stress, and fights infection, fatigue, and candida. Make a big jar, and drink one ounce a day throughout the cold and flu season.

You will need the following:
* 1/4 cup chopped garlic
* 1/4 cup diced onion
* 1 whole habanero pepper
* 1/8 cup grated fresh ginger
* 2 tablespoons grated horseradish
* 2 tablespoons turmeric
* 32-ounce bottle organic apple cider vinegar
* 1 large Mason jar

Prep the veggies and fill the Mason jar about 2⁄3 full of them, then add in the spices on top. Pour in the apple cider vinegar, filling to the top. Close the jar and shake. Keep in a cool, dry place and let ferment, shaking well frequently. After two weeks, strain the mixture through cheesecloth. Keep the liquid in the jar in the fridge, and consume an ounce each day, as needed. A magical elixir!
