POSTED UNDER Earth

Magical Sticky Notes

Color of the day:  Orange
Incense of the day:  Juniper

What on earth would we do without sticky notes? The Post-it Note was invented by accident in 1968 by a chemist named Spencer Silver. He was looking for a strong adhesive, but what he found was a low-tack adhesive that would stick to things but could be easily unstuck and moved. Today, sticky notes come in a multitude of sizes, shapes, and colors.

If you haven't already done so, add sticky notes to your magical repertoire. Try this. At your next ritual, instead of putting actual things (figures of deities, elemental tools, etc.) on your altar, buy large sticky notes in appropriate colors. Draw gods and goddesses, elemental beings, astrological symbols, etc., on them and stick them to your altar(s). Invoke the powers drawn and named on the sticky notes. Move the sticky notes when necessary. Just don't try to substitute little pieces of paper for cakes and ale.
