We all have times when we need a boost of self-confidence. Maybe you're about to ask your boss for a raise or finally ask out that cute coworker. Either way, making a good impression and being self-confident are paramount.
Think of your favorite characters from pop culture. Pick a character who best embodies the characteristics that you want to convey. To impress a coworker with your knowledge, you might choose Hermione Granger. To show your boss your business savvy, you might choose Bruce Wayne. To show your empathy and loyalty, you might choose Samwise Gamgee.
Envision that character standing behind you and then stepping into your body, imbuing you with his or her positive characteristics. Then go do what you need to do with the full confidence that you have the energy of that character riding within you. Once you've finished, envision that character stepping back out of you and receding back into the ether.
