Concentrate on what you want to forget, in all its painful glory. When the memory is fully fixated in your mind, pull the plug if you're in the bathtub or turn off the water if you're in the shower. Wait until the water has drained. Feel the weight of your thoughts draining away with the water as it leaves you, taking this bad memory with it. When you feel lighter, and the water is gone, pinch out the candles. If you find yourself starting to remember, just remind yourself that you've washed it out of your memory, and turn your thoughts elsewhere. |
