LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Rulership over Yourself

Color of the day:  Ivory
Incense of the day:  Rosemary

In classical Rome, this day was devoted to the Capitoline Triad-Jupiter, Juno, and Minerva-who are believed to have originally been Etruscan deities. The Triad were the divine protectors of the state and spoke via auguries. If we think of these deities as ruling body, soul, and mind, we can perhaps get some auguries for ourselves today.
Select the Empress, Emperor, and Strength cards from your favorite tarot deck and lay them on your altar. Place a quartz crystal, holey stone, or other significant stone on each card to magnify what each deity says to you. Light purple or indigo candles, and go into your alpha state. Engage in conversation with these deities. Ask Jupiter what you can do to improve or preserve your physical health. Ask Juno about your spiritual and emotional health. Ask Minerva about your mental health. If their advice seems to be sound, follow it.
