Living Fire

Color of the day:  Yellow
Incense of the day:  Juniper

The fire element is the liveliest of the four cardinal elements and is associated with passion and intensity. While the planet Earth is our home, it was born of fire: the fires of volcanism and those of the universe, with stellar explosions providing atomic elements to make life possible. The fire element is one of vigor, enthusiasm, and creation.
Spend a day-or longer-focusing deeply on your connection to the fire element. Dress in colors of red, orange, and gold, and wear silks or laboratory-spun fibers if you can. Carry bloodstone, amber, carnelian, or jasper-stones powerfully associated with fire, energy, and courage.
Spend an evening meditating around a campfire or hearth fire and cooking your meal over the flames. Practice fire-scrying: gaze into the flames, ask meaningful questions, and open your mind to answers. Give thanks for the blessings of fire!
