Blessing for Wedding Rings

It is wise to bless the rings you shall wear (hopefully always) as symbols of your marriage bond. Sometimes, we are not fortunate enough to be able to have a full-fledged Pagan handfasting ceremony due to family differences or other reasons. In that case, a simple but heartfelt private blessing said over the rings is a very effective means of giving them proper direction and magical intent. If possible, slip the rings over the end of a wand or hold them in both hands as you send white light into them and say this spell:

"Symbol of union worn on the hand, golden circles of eternity, protect and nurture the love for which you stand, blessed you shall ever be."

Keep the rings in a white or pink magic bag until the ceremony to preserve the charge.
