Exploring the Mother

When we give birth to an idea, or acquire a child, or care for someone who needs our help, we find ourselves calling upon the Mother within.
The Mother is not just a caregiver of children. She is the teacher of life experiences; she is the provider. Her inner warrior will fight for everything that her child (or charge or project or dream) needs. Each of her creations will be nurtured till it is mature, then it will be allowed to go on its own.
We return to the Mother when we need healing, loving, or nurturing. She will kiss the boo-boos and hold us till we stop shaking.
We need the Mother as much as we find we need to be mothers. We live to care, and we care to be loved. Embrace the Mother within and find out what caring is all about.
