Fertility Spell

Color of the day:  Black
Incense of the day:  Cinnamon

This is the birthday of Robert Graves, who wrote The White Goddess, the book that introduced many people, including modern Pagans, to the concept of the Maiden, Mother, and Crone, the Goddess of Birth, Love and Death, and the New, Full, and Old Moon. He is reputed to have written this fertility spell.
Cut an apple in half cross-wise to reveal the five-fold pattern, the pentagram, in the middle. Take five apple seeds out, and place them on your bed. When you put down the first seed, say:
"Aah," the second seed, "oh" (to rhyme with go), the third seed, "ou" (to rhume with you), the fourth seed "aay" (to rhyme with say), the fifth seed, "eee" (to rhyme with be).
Then, swallow the first seed, and put the rest in your garden, or on the ground in a park or other place where plants are growing.
