Today is Armed Forces Day. Here is a candle spell that calls for protection for the women and men of our armed forces no matter where they may be called to duty. Light a white candle for your soldier. Place a picture of that soldier in front of the candle. Take a few moments to ground and center. Visualize a deep purple-blue energy shield wrapped around them to keep them protected and safe from all harm. Now, repeat the spell.
May the gods of your
ancestors, keep watch over you I pray,
I send protection and love to you, though you are far away.
Feel my magic circle 'round, and create a shield.
This loving protection for you, will never yield.
By all the powers of Moon and Sun,
As I will it, so shall it be done.
Allow the candle to burn out in a safe place.
