Today is Presidents' Day, a great day to think about leadership in general. Great leaders have dreams, even visions, that they fight to make come true. To inspire your own great dreams, try making this dream pillow. Get a swath of purple fabric, preferably cotton, about 8 4 inches. Fold it in half, sew it closed on two sides, and turn it so the seams are on the inside. Fill the bag with lavender for luck and peaceful sleep, catnip for visions and prosperity, thyme for prophecy, and oregano for the courage to follow your dreams. Before you sew the bag closed, add a few drops of bergamot oil for success. Slipstitch the top shut and tuck inside your
pillowcase. When you get into bed
at night, repeat this charm:
Give me sight
In the night
That I may fight
For what is right
At the dawn of morning light.
