Pumpkin Spell
Color of the day: Pink Incense of the day: Juniper Incense of the day: Juniper As Samhain approaches, it is the proper time to decorate your home for the holidays. Get a pumpkin to place in your front window or on your front porch. Carve your pumpkin in any manner you choose. Salt some of the seeds and dry them in your oven. Leave some unsalted and unbaked. Put the salted seeds in a bowl for guests to munch on, and sprinkle the raw seeds outside for the birds, as a gift. Place a candle inside the pumpkin and light it at sundown, saying: This fire I light for friend and kin, to let them know they are welcome within. May even those who can't stop a while see this face and share a smile. |
