Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Sage

In the ancient Egyptian calendar, today is the New Year. It was recognized as a particularly magical time when the masculine force of the Sun and the feminine force of the stars united. On this day, statues from temples and shrines were placed outside, where they could be charged with the fusion of these sacred energies. The Egyptians also believed it was the time when Sekhmet commenced her transformation back into the beautiful goddess Hathor. If there is something you wish to transform, give it careful consideration today. List only one or two things you wish to change, with an achievable time frame and steps to take. With personal development or appearance, change cannot occur overnight. Make a diary note in a few weeks' time to remind you of your goal. To seal your commitment to yourself, clean out a cupboard, rearrange furniture, or bring some fresh flowers into your room to make an immediate transformation.
