Color of the day: Amber Incense of the day: Violet Incense of the day: Violet Cloves are a potent herb to halt gossip, malicious talk, and slander. Oranges bring love and luck. Using one whole thin-skinned orange and some whole cloves, create a pomander by sticking a large quantity of cloves into the orange. Mix together small quantities of orris root (protection), cinnamon (healing), and nutmeg (fidelity), and a small quantity of lemon or orange oil (clarity and purity). Roll the clove-studded orange in the mixture and then wrap it in mesh, tissue, or cheesecloth fabric. Tie with a pink ribbon, creating a hanging loop. Decorate it and make it a lovely ornament. Hang the pomander in a room where arguments happen or in a closet with clothes that are worn in difficult situations. Let harmony prevail! |
