The new year is associated with resolutions to kick bad habits or to establish good new ones. But why do so many of our New Year resolutions last only a few days? Usually, this is because we set our standards too high. Today, set a realistic goal by making sure it's achievable. For example, if you love chocolate, it would be unrealistic to expect yourself to give it up totally. A more realistic goal is to reduce your chocolate consumption rather than abstain from your pleasure. Focus on making improvement rather than extreme change. This way you stand a good chance of achieving your goal with
a sense of accomplishment. Also, don't forget to pat yourself on the back when you achieve it. As you state your goal, light a gold candle to attract success.
