This is an excellent day to show leadership ability. Wear an article of red clothing today such as a red "power" tie, and, if you wear jewelry, wear gold. Call on Sekhmet, the Egyptian lioness goddess, to help you gain the strength you need to succeed. Today you will have both the Sun and the Moon shining on your endeavors; make good use of their blessings. On your altar place a small statue of Sekhmet or of a lioness, a red rose, and a libation of red ale. In the morning, step outside, greet the Sun, and say:

Solar lioness,
Shine on me!
Amplify my light,
Let me lead!
Sa sekhem,
Sa sekhem,
Great lady Sekhmet.

Repeat this under the Full Moon as it rises. Toast Sekhmet at cocktail hour with a red ale, saying: "Sa sekhem, sa sekhem." Any success sought today will bring rich rewards.
