Boundary-Setting Spell

Color of the day:  Indigo
Incense of the day:  Magnolia

Setting boundaries can be challenging, especially when it's with someone you care about. This spell is designed to help you express your boundaries and have them respected while maintaining a good relationship with the person in question. Gather these materials:

  • A cloth for your working surface
  • A small object belonging to the person you wish to communicate with (If this is not possible, write their name on a small bit of paper.)
  • A stick of raspberry or other thorny twig
  • Honey or maple syrup

Lay out a cloth to protect the surface you're working on. Place the object or paper in front of you. Lay the raspberry twig on the table between yourself and the object. The thorns bring a repellent and defensive energy. Pour some honey down the length of the stick, coating the thorns and softening their vibration. This sweetness eases the blow of setting a firm boundary with someone. Whenever you state a boundary, call to mind the image of this combination. Dispose of it afterward.

Be sure to combine this spell with good communication!
