The heavens are stretched thin as the energies of fire and water pull at the delicate fabric of our lives today. It is likely that egos and tempers will flare and we will witness people growing more frustrated than usual. Cast this spell today or whenever you would like to cool someone's temper. All you need is a red pillar candle, something to carve the candle with, a firesafe bowl, and some ice.

Carve the person's name into the candle, then put the candle in the center of the bowl. Gentle pack ice around the sides of the candle and place the bowl in the freezer. After an hour, the candle should also be frozen and you can begin the next part of the working.

Set the bowl in front of you, say the person's name five times, then light the candle. Say:

You burn hot, now burn cold.
Your ill temper has grown old!

Extinguish the candle.
